We went Italian last night....

Yeah.... Last week we went for pizzas@pizza hut and ND blurted out how the spaghetti in white sauce look so tempting. So, Everlind the girlfren cited that she can do better and of coz we are 'family of food loving people' welcomed her suggestion to prepare it the coming week. For me.... it was as if someone put food directly in my mouth - if you know what I mean(and loving every single moment of it). I have to admit she cooks very well and we enjoy the sumptuous dinner. Thanks ya Lind.

One day, the young cow came running home from the chicken village, crying with tears running down his cheeks. The older cow asked what's the matter and the young cow said the entire village of chicken tried to harm him and even gave him a good chased out of that place.

One day, a man who didn't feel quite well went to a private clinic for medical consultation. The clinic was full with out-patients and that made the nurse who was on duty at the registration counter had to give her service with quite a high tone of voice as it was very noisy at the time.

Nurse : Nama apa? ( Name please)

Man : Chern Ta Lek.

Nurse : Nama orang putih ada? (D you have any English name?)

The man looked to his right, then to his left then whisper softly his name..

Man : Teh Tarik..

Nurse : Apa??!!!!! (What??!!!)

The man looked irritated and said his name out loud

Man : TEH TARIK!!!

Everybody were quite and everything went in silence mode

p/s you will smile if you are a chinese reader but if you are not, you wouldn't find these jokes as funny at all.

Finally, it is set....

The wedding will be on 30th May 2008... Not by their choice but I guess we do have to consider the relatives from afar and I agree (Senah is hoping relatives as far from Miri and mom from Sibu and Kapit to attend). Tentatively we will do the reception at the Four Points by Sheraton (although in the midst of construction will be ready by then). We do have the menus. We are hoping for a fun, memorable wedding where three cultures; Bidayuh, Iban and Kayan will be united and I do hope David will consider it (if you are reading this - we want something unique...)

So this is my first report as tHe Wedding Planner.

Finally..... with courage I went....

Yeeaa... it was an issue that matters, really....

You know i was not feeling well for a couple of months now.......

Bruce said it's the tooth and nothing but the tooth...

So finally i made the appointment with Roki the Dentist a week prior.......

Hubby refused to come, he had to work anyway; so dragged Jaja, Beth and my dad together with ND to go with me......

Then when it was my turn...

I closed my eyes; refusing to look or try to imagine the syringes......

The assistant held my hands........

I squeezed it tightly.....

"It's going to hurt a bit" she said...

1..... 2..... 3.....

Nothing happened..

1.... 2.... 3.....

Hallelujah!!!!! The source of my sickness has left my body..... I am free.... I am free.... I am free..

I am alive.........

That was the only tooth I ever extracted since my school time.... COOoooL.......

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIRLZZZ!!

My girl, Beth, turned 5 on 30th October2008. I wanted to give her that childhood memories of celebrating birthday. So got the whole family in the agenda and I was so happy with the result. I like to thank my brothers ND and David together with their girlfrens, Everlind and Senah, my sister Ivy and her children; Nevin, Nigel and Nuvall and of coz my beloved Ma and Abba and not forgetting my in-laws for taking care of my kids so I can get organized and my sister in-law Anna; who took care of the cake....

We celebrated her big day on 1st November, which happened to be 'mour' Bday also....... but I guess even though I was not the centre of attraction I was just as happy just by the look on her face and saw her smile on that day.....

I'M A WEDDING PLANNER!!!!!!

Finally....Since it's in his blog I guess is also ok to put it in my blog. So, my youngest brother Abet 'melangkah bedul' over ND and going to get engaged to Senah Ukong. The wedding will be next year and I being busy body offered to be the wedding planner. It was actually a pack between I and ND(that I will be his when he tie the knot); mana tau jadi like this.

Well I will try, if Senah say yes too, bro..........

The meeting between the family will be in few weeks time and I guess I will update you guys on me as the wedding planner....

I AM BACK......

My PC Modem was struck by lightning and as a result I was unable to go online for a couple of weeks. Although the other half and I were on leave for few days last week, I found that with the children schooling, we still need to do the things we do every morning. So I does not really make any differences - unless it is school holidays. I was on sick leave for 1 1/2 days on Wed & Thur; came down with the flu virus. I slept the whole day on Thursday and today still recovering.

I wish to congrats Simon on his wedding day last week; 11Oct2008. It was a beautiful weddings and why I said weddings becoz it was a mass wedding . 7 couples got married at the same time that day. St. Anne was beautiful and it was like a garden's wedding. I love garden's wedding.... and talking about wedding, the family might have one next year...... Am so happy.....
